WJ Middle East is ISO 45001:2018 Certified

WJ UAE & Qatar has successfully completed the surveillance audit and transition to ISO 45001:2018 on 9th, 10th & 15th December 2019.

Because of the efforts of all staff, and support from top management before and during the actual external audit, WJ’s old standard accreditation of OHSAS 18001 has been upgraded to the new standard ISO 45001, and the other certification standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 are recommended for continuity.

To become ISO 45001:2018 certified, organisations must have an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system giving guidance for its use, and enabling organisations to provide safe and healthy workplace environments by eliminating hazards, preventing work-related injury and ill health – all while proactively improving occupational health and safety performance.

Yearly, scope and performance of WJ’s management system, together with its available infrastructure & resources are being validated by Bureau Veritas Audit Team. The audit report has concluded the company’s satisfactory compliance, and recommended that WJ’s management system has demonstrated a state of development and maturity in its processes.

It’s indeed a very good start of year 2020 for the company! Congratulations to WJ Middle East!
