Dubai Downtown has seen several capacity upgradations since its inception. The existing networks are constantly being enhanced to meet future demand. Areas in and around Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall are being developed with a futuristic outlook.
WJ Middle East undertook the storm water over pumping works using our CD250 diesel centrifugal pumps as the Emaar Boulevard storm water pumping station required scheduled maintenance shutdown. WJ by utilizing their fuel-efficient pumps for this project has enabled the client to save on fuel. We installed our heavy-duty temporary HDPE discharge bypass line up to 250m in length. This line was terminated to the existing live network which discharges to the Business Bay creek outfall. Experienced WJ Crew operated and monitored the project continuously.
Dubai Expo 2020 will be the first World Fair to come to the Emirati states, and is a significant engineering and construction investment. One of the instrumental elements of this project is the construction of new transport infrastructure, including the Route 2020 underground metro extension from Nakheel Harbour and Tower Metro Stations to the Expo 2020 site.
With a focus on strengthening team bonds, WJ Team Steffin, Anu, Donna and Johannes were appointed to a corporate challenge which required mental and physical fitness, quick thinking and teamwork while having a blast! WJ’s insurance provider has organized this event, held on 28th September 2019. It was a thrilling, fun-filled adventure participated by more than 50 organisations that made up of over 94 teams.
WJ Middle East are in full swing installing wellpoints on an Island in Abu Dhabi to assist a Client with dewatering their trenching works. WJ were called up to provide a cost effective dewatering solution for trenching works for laying services next to the sea. WJ could fulfil our Client’s immediate requirement as we have our own fleet of drilling rigs and wellpoint pumps.
