As a way of promoting Health and Safety culture within the company, WJ HR Admin & Wellness Department recently concluded the 1-month duration “30 Days Weight Loss Challenge” in line with the celebration of “The World Day for Safety and Health at Work” held every month of April. This was done voluntarily by WJ Office Staff and losing weight together have fostered camaraderie and motivation to everyone. Since the Covid-19 pandemic has started, all our lifestyles were changed. From being an active individual to being less social and less interactive. So, most of us might have gained extra weight while we adapt this “new normal” lifestyle that the pandemic brought us.
For Site Staff, the company also recognized workers who were committed to safety standards and exemplary observing or promoting Safety Awareness at work site or yard. Six chosen individuals were rewarded for their great HSE contributions.
Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety for our employees are especially important to WJ. We will continue to strive in providing better services to our Clients through our continual improvement and work ethics in promoting QHSE in all areas of work.
