WJ Groundwater Middle East (WJ-ME) was proud to partner with the main contractor, EXPOLINK, to provide expert dewatering solutions for the construction of the new station boxes. Given the fixed 2020 deadline, the client required a dependable dewatering contractor to deliver the project within budget and schedule. WJ-ME’s proven expertise in deepwell dewatering and analytical 3D modeling made us the ideal choice.
Before construction began, WJ-ME conducted extensive 3D analytical modeling, using advanced hydraulic simulations to design an efficient dewatering system. These simulations accurately assessed flow rates, drawdown requirements, and system performance, ensuring alignment with the client’s program.
The resulting system design included:

• Nearly 100 internal and external deepwells.
• An external peripheral discharge network for effective water removal.

This system ensured the safe and dry excavation of the station boxes while maintaining operational flexibility to adapt to site conditions.
